After the wedding, we were off to the Shangri-La Fijian resort, a lot of which is pictured below.
All the photos from 1612 to 1634 were taken during a day trip with some new friends, Wayne and Shanon out to Mana Island for snorkeling (here's some of their pics).  The first 7 were in the ocean on the way.  LOTS of cool small islands everywhere.

Off of Mana Island Resort on their north beach is the most amazing snorkeling I have ever seen.  Nowhere even in Hawaii have I seen anything like it.  I hope my pictures will do it justice from one of those box camera/throw-aways.

We met a nice couple that got married while there.  Not a bad location for a wedding!

Fiji is very beautiful as are the people.  It would take several trips over many years to see it all as there are so many islands.  Now that we have done the main island and this resort, I would recommend for those that would like to go, to stay there for a couple nights, then do an outer island for a week or so.  Either way, it is a lovely place worth exploring.  If you dive or snorkel, it would be heaven.

After first considering Bora Bora, I am really glad we chose Fiji for our destination.  It was fantastic.
